‘At home’

At the beginning of 2020, Caroline Ann Mordue had produced a series of paintings titled ‘Coming Home’, based on the landscape of the Scottish Borders. Then, when the global pandemic shut everything down, she refocused her work inward. Every day was filled with uncertainty, and so she began to look at her immediate surroundings and the familiarity of the objects around her. A vase of flowers by a window, the way sunlight hit the leaves, these are the moments captured in this new series ‘At Home’.
